The Library of Congress has a stellar series of vintage movie etiquette posters from around 1912. Just think for a moment, this is what the world was like just 100 years ago. Movies at that point in time didn’t have sound and remained silent until the late 1920’s. Sadly, a September 2013 report by the United States Library of Congress announced that a total of 70% of American silent films are believed to be completely lost.
